And im abit worried if im gonna end up having a long wait for the test and end up forgetting completely how to drive🥲🥲 do u guys have any recommendations how to warm up my brain every now and then like a video tutorial will do that dont cost any money😊
I think this just changed (or 5 years ago). You can take the most suitable lane, if it doesn’t interfere with other cars. So technically you were correct, but if there were other cars on other lane – not.

It can be confusing but as a general rule of thumb you turn into either the corresponding lane or the lane closest to you going from a single to a duel. Although the law may have changed its still good practice considering most new drivers would focus more on whats in front than being concerned necessarily about another driver behind them making a mistake which could lead to a side collision or getting rear ended. I have noticed at least in my city young new drivers are pretty cautious about this sort of thing. Its the seniors that will disregard and actually pass in the wrong lane and almost cause an accident along woth total disregard for crosswalks, as I have been hit twice crossing the road at the same cross walk, its even illuminated and gets fresh paint every summer. The city knows its an issue and the cops frequently park right at it and ticket people that disregard.
Rehearsal, rehearsal. You might consider taking an few extra hours with your driving instructor and get a feedback from them.
My wife failed three times the test. At the fourth try, she started crying and got a pass out of pity. She is still a horrendous driver, and I refuse to sit in the car when she is driving if I’m under 0.5 promilles.
These things happen. Based on statistics, around 50% fail the driving test, depending largely on location. Somewhere almost all pass, somewhere it’s harder.
When I was on driving test many years ago, I didn’t stop at one stop sign. Or I slowed to almost stop, didn’t stop completely. Automatic fail. But driving test was quite stressful I remember. Second time I passed clearly.
Take a driving lesson if you want. If this was your only mistake, you have good chances to pass the test next time.
You’ll nail it next time. Also keep in mind that at intersections you need to fully stay in your hypothetical lane in the other side as well. Meaning that if you’re turning left, don’t make the turn so tight that you intersect with the other direction’s (real or hypothetical) lane. A good rule of thumb is, left turns will be wider than right turns. Good luck!
