      He doesn’t have to ignore the Constitution. Think like Bannon. Trump family run as President and VP. Say Donald Jr. and Eric. Trump becomes Speaker of the House, which is not specified as a member of Congress. Don Jr. and Eric step down, Trump becomes President for a third term as the 22nd Amendment only prohibits running for President, not serving as President. The office becomes the family business. Don’t put this past them.

      Conservatives are making two claims as to why this would be possible.

      Claim 1: The restriction of holding office doesn’t exist in the *original* constitution, it was an amendment, therefore it isn’t valid.

      Claim 2: The restriction only applies to presidents who have had two consecutive terms.

      Both are fucking wrong, but that’s where we’re at in this country.

      Aw shit, I just realized their plan. One of his goon children is going to run, and Trump is going to do all the campaigning. The idea being that the Trump child will be a puppet. Everyone will know Trump is actually in charge (they won’t even hide it), but technically he won’t be president so it gets them around that pesky constitution.
