This is wonderful news! BRI focuses on building up smaller countries’ national industries and self-reliance and then integrating them with the global economic system. After the fall of the USSR and the consequences of the manufacturing industry evaporating, this is exactly what we need

This would be huge.Yes of course China first and foremost cares about their own interests BUT if Armenia becomes part of this major trading route, the stability in the region will become of interest for all partners involved.

This isnt good news. China probably wants to build an east-west middle corridor right through Armenia and they dont care on what grounds the corridor is created.

If you think this is a good idea please research the current economic situation of Sri Lanka. Belt and road initiative has completely screwed that country’s finances up for decades to come.
