In Skopje its relatively decent, bu you still have to watch out not to get hit by some maniac. People suck at driving here, everybody is constantly stressed out

In Ohrid the bike infrastructure is pretty poor. Very few bike lanes, and those that exist some of them are occupied by trash bins and parked cars. About Skopje, I think it’s pretty solid in comparison with other cities in Macedonia.

Only Skopje, anywhere else it is relatively bad with basically no bike lanes.

      Firstly, never „North“.
In Skopje, there’s a bike trail along the Vardar River covering a large portion of the city. You completely avoid traffic and can reach one side of the city from another in a relatively short period. It’s my daily commute, everyday.

There are also bike trails on the pavement next to the main roads, but I would use them only if I must. A lot of people walk on them, and riding next to a busy loud road isn’t really a pleasant ride.

Skopje – yes but it’s pretty bad compared to Western Europe and the rest of the developed world, elsewhere bike lanes are non-existent in this country.
