      It wouldn’t matter, Elon’s name is toxic now, the association with him is hurting the brand, what he is doing with DOGE might have accelerated things but his antics were going to drive buyers away no matter what

      TBH the only chance that tesla can ever recover is Musk stays in Doge and double down. The problem of Tesla is that EV is mostly supported by liberals. Now his far right supporters won’t buy Tesla, while independent won’t wanna be associated with far right politics; and liberals definitely not buying Tesla. And all over the world Tesla sales are mostly declining as well, and the AI thing is not yet materialized (or might simply never will)

      In order to pump up the Tesla sale, and the only way to save Tesla, is to totally control the federal gov. Then every federal contracts would be going to Tesla. And that’s the only way to save Tesla, and that’s why you see Musk is involved in Doge still.

      The funny thing is that it is too late for Tesla. At least with individual customers. He insulted the liberal, environmentally-conscientious customers who buy Tesla cars. That kind of brand betrayal takes two generations to forget.

      They would be smart to drop the cars and concentrate on their other products and dealings. Because the car portion of that company will die.

      it’s too late. the damage is done and it’s not repairable at this point. it may slow the bleeding for a while. Tesla will always and forever be tied to musk. and the American people will never forget what musk has done to them with this pointless doge crusade.

      It’s too late, the damage is already done. The real problem with Tesla isn’t its tech, its strategy, or even its execution. It’s the fact that the company is inseparably tied to Elon Musk. That bond used to be an asset, now it’s a liability. People don’t hate Tesla because of what it builds or how it runs. They hate it because of what Musk has become. And here’s the truth that makes it worse: Musk isn’t going to change. Not at his age. Not after years of being rewarded for exactly the behavior that’s now turning people off.

      To me, Musk is done. And as long as Tesla stays in his shadow, so is Tesla.

      Musk’s public reputation is already shot. There isn’t any coming back from that. Best they can do is have him relinquish his position

      He needs to leave Tesla, and even that won’t be enough to save Tesla probably. The damage is done, and it’s overvalued for what it is, a car company.

      The one thing keeping it overvalued is the fact that Elon pretty much bought himself a President.

      Kind of backwards thinking, he needs to completely divert and remove himself from Tesla. Because leaving doge to spend more time at Tesla is not gonna help Tesla at all.

      In my area, we have a lot of companies that use Tesla as a company car. All of the companies have gotten rid of Tesla and replaced them with other brands since last year.

      Too late. He may yet definitely destroy the government but Twitter and Tesla are toast. He alienated pretty much any potential purchaser of an ev.

      The only way out would be to sell the company and tech to a major manufacturer at a steep discount.

      Pretty amazing. Obviously the cyber truck is trash but the rest of the cars are fine. It’s the brand.

      Unless he is fired, gets no future remuneration and the company changes the damage is fatal.

      It probably will be even if they do that.
