Even if it isn’t photoshopped what took you so long to get to this point. Also a tattoo isn’t grounds for what has happened to him. Give us some evidence to back up your claims

It’s disgusting enough that the President is making a case in public against a man who can’t defend himself. It’s even worse that he’s lying when he does it. If you’ve got all of this evidence, why not present it in court? It should be a slam dunk.

Let’s say it’s fake: so they’ve demonstrated that they’re willing to fabricate evidence to justify an illegal deportation without due process and against the rings of a judge.
Let’s say the tattoo is real: why not publish it sooner, before he was forcably removed? How would we know he wasn’t knocked out by an El Salvadoran prison guard before it was applied?
We have nothing but a hand and no attempt to authenticate it in court.
I think the photo is an example of a code, the MS 13 was added to show what each knuckle tat means. I’m not saying the code is right but I also don’t want more shit the right can poke at and not focus on the facts
Assume it’s genuine. Assume everything you have heard from Bondi, Trump, all the Presidents henchmen and women is true and it **changes nothing** this man and everyone is entitled to due process. The President and all of them lost every court case arguing against due process and the Supreme Court ruled 9-0 against the White House and The President.

I said this elsewhere, I don’t think the typed letters and words are intended to make you think literally those letters and words are tattooed on his knuckles. I think they put those on to try and convey what they think the symbols means. All that to say the symbolism is complete bullshit.
All that I see is a convicted felon that was allowed due process holding a picture of someone’s, that hasn’t been given due process, hand.
Ok I’m no supporter of Trump or anything he does, but I thought it was pretty clear that the letters and numbers, “MS13” were put into the photo to indicate what the symbols were supposed to represent. Before I opened this article I thought people were going to say the symbols themselves were photoshopped on and I’m kind of dumbfounded how the letters added onto the picture wasn’t obvious.
Imagine how easy it would be to prove he’s a gang member in a court if he does in fact have this tattoo and the ties they claim. I hope you’re sitting down for this, but it almost seems like they’ve been disingenuous about all this and can’t actually prove anything. I know, I know, shocking that this administration would lie and have done something blatantly illegal and unconstitutional.

It does not matter. Even IF he had a giant face tattoo that read, „Fuck You, I am MS-13,“ there was a court order that prevented his deportation to El Salvador.

Trump can go to court, and argue for the order to be lifted.
But they aren’t doing that, they have not been able to prove he is a „gang member‘ in court, so they are just lying to us.
This is worse than Jan 6th. This is worse than Russiagate. This should be reason for impeachment and removal.

Isn’t it more likely that someone annotated the photograph with MS13 in an attempt to relate to actual tattoos of cannabis leaf and so on, and then the morons in charge mistook that for an actual tattoo of MS13?

I think the point of Trump’s post isn’t to pass off the letters as real. I think it’s an attempt to tie meaning to the tattoos he actually does have.

He is attempting to tie this as a disguised MS-13 tattoo and I hate to admit it … I can see it. It is not a huge stretch to claim this is an IYKYK tattoo.
Whether that is the tattoo’s intention, I don’t think anyone can definitively say except for Mr. Garcia.
However, I think it’s bad faith to say Trump is trying to pass off the overlayed letters as legit tattoos. I expect better from people critical of Trump; he does exponentially worse things and blatant lies. This is not something to get panties in a bunch for. There is a possibility he has some shred of truth here.
Edit: Mr. Garcia was owed due process. Due process would have given the court a chance to argue the tattoo meaning and use it as a basis to seek a judges approval to deport him. The tragedy here is that due process was not carried out and that is an affront to Mr. Garcia’s basic human rights in America. He deserves that. All people do. Gang members or otherwise.
