I would watch out. This place changes a man.
The country is divided in east, west and North. The early „Mongolian“ Uralic eastern origin is faded but still visible in many people especially in the east. The largest ethnic influences are actually germanic me included being from the west coast.
It’s not really a factor of care here.
Origin: when first slug crawled out of water quite a looooong while ago.(Devonian period, about 400 million years ago)

Have not thought it ever. Not really interested about it. It doesn’t define me. I’m who I am and that’s it.
This is not America. We don’t talk about being from xxxx, with xxxx heritage etc. Nobody cares.
