Ukraine has obtained intelligence indicating that China is providing Russia with artillery and gunpowder, President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Thursday. “We have finally received information that China is supplying weapons to the Russian Federation,” Zelensky announced during a press conference in Kyiv. “We believe that Chinese representatives are engaged in the production of some weapons on the territory of Russia,” he added.
What‘s next on this guy‘s list on making bad decisions while dragging not only Ukraine but also EU with it.
Zelensky’s a notoriously bad decision maker, China has played both sides of this conflict from the start they both economically trade with Ukraine, but also have interest with Russia. Zelensky should be trying to court China for peace.
Has any other intelligence agency confirmed these claims? I don’t mean to sound harsh but he also recently declared that China was sending troops into Ukraine (they were just mercenaries). But if true this would be a major shift for chinas foreign policy as they seemed to focus of selling duel use components rather than actual weapons. Could indicate they want this finished up or they plan of propping up Russia to keep to conflict going.
While Zelensky is quite brave in defending his country from Russia aggression and didn’t just flee. But he is not above lying and bullshitting in international news to get a certain narratives to help his fellow Ukranian.
The first big lie is about Nord Stream sabotage, it’s increasingly clear it’s the work of an Ukrainian affiliated group, whether it’s a state-sponsored act or the act of disobedient general is unclear. However this inconvenient truth never really gets mainstream after the investigation that reveals it comes out, as the western side also have no benefits in fanning distrust to Ukraine.
The second big lie is about the chinese lone mercenary framed by Zelensky as chinese army PLA joining the war. This seems like blatant attempt to kite Trump into biting into the war in Ukraine.
