I’ve been looking at the reactions to this on X, and Turks (well, Turk*ish*) appear rather upset since the expectation is that Turkic states should provide Turkey with unconditional support.
Now I’m reading various comments about the Organization of Turkic States being a farce, the Central Asian republics being too Russified, not Muslim enough, etc.
As a Turk yes this is a big blow. Of course CA and EU working together is good but this was not expected. EU promised good amount of investment and Turk does not equal to Turkic. Only Azerbaijan now has full support.
