I don’t think Azerbaijan will allow a consolidation of international opinion on the topic that will mount pressure on it, I wouldn’t be surprised if they manufacture something soon so we get more confused westerners and „both sides need to negotiate“ comments.
From this point of view the Mirzoyan-Bayramov public meeting was a victory for Bayramov, since he succeeded in creating confusion among external observers.
Honestly, at this point, if we can’t dominate the narrative when the enemy is a nepotistic baby who has his wife as vice president and spreads thousands of fake accounts, articles, and misinformation on all social media, and they are being exposed and taken down, and they’re literally one of the most corrupt nations on this planet, and they still manage to come out on top, then it’s our fault. Jesus, Aliyev keeps gifting us everything on a golden platter, and we still fail to actually put him in his place on international platforms. That’s pretty sad!
I hope that at some point the EU will trust Armenia’s word against Azerbaijan’s, with or without their own monitors.
