Chinesische und US-amerikanische Firmen arbeiten gemeinsam an ersten globalen generativen KI-Standards

China’s Ant Group, Baidu and Tencent Holdings have joined forces with leading global tech companies including OpenAI, Microsoft and [Nvidia](https://www.scmp.com/topics/nvidia?module=inline&pgtype=article) to publish two international standards on generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) and large language models (LLMs).

They are the first global standards specifically covering GenAI and LLM, technologies behind increasingly popular AI services such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Microsoft’s Copilot, which is supported by OpenAI technology. Chinese search engine operator Baidu has also rolled out [its own AI chatbot, Ernie Bot](https://www.scmp.com/tech/tech-trends/article/3259205/baidu-claims-200-million-users-ernie-chatbot-sign-generative-ai-investments-are-paying?module=inline&pgtype=article), while [Tencent](https://www.scmp.com/tech/big-tech/article/3224643/tencent-jumps-chatgpt-bandwagon-rolling-out-llm-corporate-clients-including-state-media?module=inline&pgtype=article) and [Ant](https://www.scmp.com/tech/big-tech/article/3240544/ant-group-gets-green-light-beijing-release-new-ai-products-built-its-own-large-language-model-public?module=inline&pgtype=article) have launched their respective LLMs.

It provides a framework for testing and validating the security of GenAI applications, according to a copy of the document published on the WDTA website.
