I love that the Cassini probe was beaming back data right up until it plunged into Saturn. We learned so much about Saturn, its rings and the moons through that little probe. It’s a shame that no new mission to Saturn has gotten past the concept stage so far.
But if I had my was there’d be probes and rovers shot out to every corner of the solar system.
Cassini gave us so much good science and photos. It was a great spacecraft!
When I see this photo all I can think of is the Old Gregg episode of The Mighty Boosh. „I call this one, ‚As Close as You Can Get to Baileys Without Getting Your Eyes Wet‘.“
Those shots were so beautiful. 🙏
