You know I’ll bet everything that is the main cause of all this disinformation people are talking about. This is Russia’s style. Russia doesn’t want to leave and they’ll take everyone down with them

    2. The other change is significant since we will remove army soldiers and replace them with NSS border guards as well.

But the news of Russian soldiers getting removed from their posts is significant nonetheless. Probably one of the few good news on the subject.

And maybe the end goal of the current government.. Which is why pro-Government officials, and even Armenian analysts Like David Ioanessian are calling this a great development in Armenian diplomacy.

This is also indicative to what the current west wants. the G7 summit called this a win for everyone. The UN secretary general also called this a positive development. Western governments are mostly rejoicing.

And I think that it’s because Armenia, with this method, will be able to remove the Russians from its borders. While cooperating with Azerbaijan to do so, pushing/forcing Azerbaijan into the western Hemisphere.

Armenia did not drag its feet for the proposals. We can speculate as to why:

1- the gov doesn’t want to delay any processes in motion. If people believe in the “Azerbaijan is delaying the process” theory

2- the gov is scared of repercussions from the west, who might think we are waiting for a Russian deal. If people believe in the “Armenia is playing both sides” theory

3- Armenia wants to get rid of unnecessary legal issues it might face in the future. If people believe in the “Pashinyan is dick sucking the west and int law” theory.

The belief that Pashinyan is a spineless coward clearly results from misinformation propagated by Russia, while those who anticipate imminent lasting peace are equally misled by Azerbaijani propaganda.

Firstly, Pashinyan has been biding time through concessions, accumulating wealth, and bolstering the military. Armenia’s advantages include greater transparency, more efficient military spending, and the boldness to let civilian militias supplement the regular forces, which Aliyev wouldn’t dare. The balance of power is now tipping towards Armenia, making Azerbaijan more eager to initiate conflict, not Armenia.

Secondly, there are currently no signs of peace. Both sides are massively stockpiling military hardware, and military expenditures continue to rise, indicating that diplomatic de-escalation might merely be an illusion, with both parties preparing for war.

Lastly, the current situation between Armenia and Azerbaijan somewhat mirrors that of the UK and Germany before WWII. Until the invasion of Poland, Britain’s Chamberlain kept yielding to Hitler’s demands while simultaneously strengthening the military. If a war does not break out during Pashinyan’s term, his historical standing in Armenia could parallel Chamberlain’s in the UK.

    5. I feel that Armenia should accelerate and finish its border delimitation with Georgia first and quickly .

That should put more pressure on Azerbaijan to stop dragging its feet.
