So dankt sich Washington für ein Land, das immer fair gespielt hat, seine Märkte eröffnet, seine industriellen Zölle abgeschafft und massiv in die amerikanische Wirtschaft investiert. Und im Gegenzug? Ein monumentaler Schlag ins Gesicht 😣
Und in der Zwischenzeit gibt es in Bern eine leichte Empörung, die Besprechungen, die endlose Diskussionen genannt werden. Als ob die Geschichte nicht bereits tausendmal bewiesen hätte, dass der Goodwill und das Völkerrecht bei der Einstellung der amerikanischen Realpolitik nichts wiegen. Der Bundesrat muss seine Lethargie abschütteln, dieser ständigen Unterwürfigkeit und Handlung ein Ende setzen. Stark. Sofort!
Die SNB, die buchstäblich amerikanische Märkte mit Milliarden überflutet, muss seine Investitionen überdenken. Dieses Geld sollte zuerst dienen SCHWEIZ, Unsere Branche, unsere KMU, unsere Infrastruktur, die so dringend ist, mit überlasteten Autobahnen und überfüllten Zügen. Dann Europa, unser natürlicher Raum für Austausch und Zusammenarbeit. Aber kein weiterer Cent für „Partner“, die uns in den Rücken stechen.
Es ist Zeit, unsere Verteidigungsentscheidungen zu überdenken!
Der Kauf von Patriot-Raketen und F-35-Jets aus den USA? Ein strategischer Fehler und eine inakzeptable Abhängigkeit. Diese Verträge müssen unverzüglich kündigt werden. Wir haben keinen Grund, militärisch von denen abhängig zu sein, die uns als bloße wirtschaftliche Bauern betrachten. Nehmen wir die Kontrolle über unsere Souveränität zurück, einschließlich im Himmel.
Die Welt verändert sich, ebenso wie Allianzen.
Diejenigen, die sich wie Raubtiere verhalten, verdienen weder unser Geld noch unser Vertrauen oder unser Schweigen.
Es ist Zeit, die Schweiz und Europa wieder großartig zu machen.

Switzerland makes a lot of oportunist choices, so that it wouldn’t be strange some thing keep going as they were.
Right Wing Politicians have no backbone. And since the Bundesrat is also overwhelmingly rightleaning we wont „wake up“. Were like flags in the wind. Turning wherever theres money to be gained for big corporations if possible. And they were under the impression… and mostlikely still are… that theres more to be gained from the us than eu.

All of this and the people outraged by it just shows how little people understand about capitalism. This is not at all surprising.
(Also Switzerland is the best country at looking out for themselves first, everyone else second. We just hide it well behind nice words)
Honestly I‘m not concerned. Imagine the biggest shop in your town is closing. You will start to buy in the little shop next door and a few others. It will cost you money and time but you probably will find a lot of new products that are surprisingly good. Now imagine you used to sell at this big shop: You will finally have time to handle all those demands you did ignore because it was much easier to sell by the ton. All this will make it a little harder but the benefit is there.
Well said OP! It’s time for Europe to prioritise regional solutions and stop relying on a country that treats allies like toilet paper. We should be investing in European industry and defence collaboration, not sending billions abroad for F-35s and Patriot systems. The world is shifting – let’s cancel these one-sided deals and build real European sovereignty and unity. All countries should follow Portugal’s lead on cancelling their F35 order plans.
