Det er vel halvparten av tollen landene selv har mot USA. Dette går ikke i lengden, USA utarmes økonomisk og det tjener ingen i det lange løp.

I wonder where they have that 30% from?
We do not have many tariffs but on certain controlled substances as far as I know? (And clothes and shoes about 10% i think, but that is from everywhere)

I think we Europeans should stop to protect US patents and intellectual property. This would be a major strike on their economy and much more effectful than to adjust our tariffs.
Well done in making your oil and fish more expensive, USA.

The claim is that it is reciprocal tariffs, but that is a complete lie. Norway (and the other countries in the list) does not have a baseline 30% tariff against ANY other country, especially not the US

USA is just enforcing tariffs that have tarrifs against american products. Its completely fair. USA becoming poor benifits noone. (Unless youre one of „those“ that think eating bugs will make the weather better)

As an American, I apologize for how this country is treating our closest allies. I hope in the future we are able to repair the damage done by this administration.

Ruining all your international relations with allies, just because you elected a pissbaby as your president

Are they using country of origin or country of export? If the latter, companies will just funnel all their exports through a low tariffs country like the UK.

Norway has a pretty balanced trade with USA, but we have HUGE tariffs on most products related to agriculture (to protect our farmers). I guess the 30% figure is related to that?
somaiah71 on
Serious question- why is this wrong? If Norway has 30% tariffs on US products why is it wrong to have retaliatory tariffs? Isn’t this just a way to create free trade?

I bet he just pulled numbers out of his ass and decided the percentages on his feelings alone. Fucking embarrassing that Americans even allow this to happen

Anyone who still believes fentanyl had anything to do with tariffs?
