Turk gas through Armenia intended for Europe this will no doubt make Azerbaijan and Russia hopping mad.
Not going to hold my breath on this, but it’s certainly unexpected news.
This is a major leverage Russia has over Armenia and reducing Russian gas dependence is critical for our national security
I don’t think this will change much in practical terms since it doesn’t sound like they’re building new pipelines, but it gives us a loophole to continue getting gas deliveries from Iranian pipelines in case of sanctions on Iran and pressure from the U.S.
