Trump will do this and then be shocked that there are masses of Venezuelans coming to America….

What do you mean further destabilizing a country means that the people of that country try to seek refuge in a good economy nearby…

Oh no. Russia buys oil from Venezuela. Looks like Trump will have to tariff his buddy Putin

Why do he wants to get involved with other countries issues when he himself has cleared he don’t want to get involved in other countries wars etc. Let the world survive and grow at its own pace.

Isn’t this the very definition of tyranny: cruel, unreasonable, or **arbitrary** use of power or control.

Lol, as a Canadian, I had the thought with the tariffs on Canadian heavy crude that the US might pivot to Venezuela, which is the only other supplier that many US refineries are purpose built for… but no 3D chess here, this it just Trump playing snakes and ladders all by himself.

I’m not sure why Venezuela is being treated as an innocent victim of American oppression in these comments when they recently threatened to invade Guyana due to them having higher quality oil reserves.

Now it just seems if they’re all just giant red balloons created to just to make people say – Hey look! Makes me tired

    8. Trump cannot mandate who buys what and from whom. Who does he think he is? I believe that anyone he chooses to punish for this should stop ALL trade with America, period. Wake up! Stop buying from the US

Conspiracy theory: Trump is actually not a human but a human-sized parrot who was taught the word „tariff.“

All right, let’s remove supply from the market and spike global energy prices! KSA and American exporters probably loves this idea.
