Just another hit piece from a disgruntled right winger thinking that the spread of „alternative facts“ and misinformation is what free speech involves.

This sub is really using a loose definition of „news“.
What benefit do people get from posting this garbage?

So let me get this right. The guy who wrote the article entitled (and I quote) “Quotations from Chairman Maher” is complaining that unbiased reporting and “the free and open Internet is dead”. In the piece he wrote to interview a guy *about* the piece he wrote to *promote* the piece he wrote. On the Internet. That I’m reading about ON ANOTHER site on the Internet. Which is apparently dead.
Oh my goodness. I don’t think the problem is the problem that he thinks is the problem.
*I* think the problem is that people who have rejected opinions for how the world should work feel entitled to have those rejected opinions turned into law for everyone, and when it doesn’t happen, they complain about “censorship”.
