Ich weiß, dass Radfahrer langsamer sein kann als der durchschnittliche Verkehr und kann den Straßenregeln möglicherweise nicht zu 100% befolgen. Ich persönlich habe helle Lichter und fahre so weit wie möglich mit der Verkehrsgeschwindigkeit, aber ich bekomme trotzdem einige schwere Fahrer, die absichtlich versuchen, mich zu erschrecken, indem ich zu eng und grundlegend ihr Gewicht fährt. Aus persönlicher Erfahrung kann ich 1 pro Woche „ungewollt“ sagen und 1 im Monat wird es jemand mit Absicht tun.

From my experience, a lot of people here dont really care about road laws and etiquet, I MAY be wrong, this is for the other commenters to decide, but in short they ain’t being d!cks to you specifically, they are d!cks to everyone.
I only hate them when there’s bicycle lane right there next to them and they don’t use it. But I would never get too close or try to harm them. I might honk my horn though.
To answer your question, because cyclists are annoying by taking up a road lane space and riding too slow compared to cars speed. Driver is often forced either to make dangerous/inconvenient maneuver to overtake or lag slowly behind. I’m a road cyclist myself, but this is the reality.
The idea that other peoples road rule compliance has an impact on your own compliance is a reoccurring theme here and completely insane. (If a wolt driver skips a light, that does not make overtaking them too close acceptable, even if they are African)
But actually looking at how people drive I think the bad driving is more inability than malice. Drivers are actually pretty friendly when they pay attention, they just don’t pay attention very often.
If you want to know how well they understand the dimensions of their cars, look at the parking…

As someone on both sides of the fence I hate everyone, when driving I’m annoyed at cyclists that sometimes don’t even try to let u pass and when cycling and desperately trying to stay on side walks annoyed at drivers that park cars across the sidewalks
We need dedicated bike lanes ! And government must add them

Edit to clarify that I never actually had an accident. Funnily enough I crashed with a cyclist when I was a pedestrian and it was my fault for crossing without checking
When people waste so much of their daily time by commuting in traffic, anything that will make them even slower is considered very annoying. Also overtaking bicycles is sometimes very hard.
Probably Because car drivers pay for the asphalt with road tax.
