Mark Rubio held a conversation with Sergey Lavrov, his Russian counterpart. The two discussed the talks with Ukraine in Saudi Arabia as well as the American operation against the Houthis. Rubio emphasized that the Americans will not allow the Houthis to attack ships.
Russia once toyed with the idea of providing the Houthis with advanced sea-to-sea missiles, but it seems that this idea was dropped.
