I’m not sure if normal bathtubs can be modified to do something like this, but of it’s too high maybe get a little plastic two step stool with anti-slip rubber on it?

    2. Well, you have to change the tube entirely.
Difficult to say how much this will cost because all depends on the tiles and finitions around.
But you are easily talking about a 5 to 10 k€ of costs here.

    3. I believe that this is not a modified bathtub but an existing bathtub model. I think it would be much easier to replace the whole bathtub instead of modifying the existing one.

    4. Generally, you’d replace the bathtub rather than modify. Never heard of bringing modification to a bathtub

If you modify, rather than buying a manufactured model, no homeowner insurance will cover the damage when your bathroom is flooded, because the tub is leaking.

    6. The problem with tub doors like that is you have to stand in the tub while the water fills, then wait until it drains entirely to get out of it. If you only take showers, you’re better off just replacing the tub with a shower enclosure.

    7. Modify a bathtub? I don’t think you can cut an upper or lower part off. Maybe get rid of the elevated base?

    8. The best and most affordable approach is to stack another one and take a standing bath.
