Wtf? Why would they let him release this recording suddenly?

This sudden increase in ANCA associated or ARF members talking about Ruben on social media.
Every single American-Armenian outlet talking about Ruben on their websites and traditional media.
As well as more activism on their part of others for the release of Ruben.
Is insanely coincidental… call me a conspiracy theorist at this point, but I genuinely do not care about Ruben **Any more** than the other 16 political prisoners, or teh remaining POW’s that haven’t return. Ruben is not some other wordy god that deserves any more attention than the others illegally in Azeri prison.
So although I want to see dedicated movements for all these people to be released (and many to be brought to justice in Armenia), this movement focusing on Ruben feels **extremely** manufactured.
>This is despite the fact that recent years have been marked by political turbulence and polarization. In the spring of 2024, there was a short but intense protest movement led by Archbishop Bagrat, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The movement was seen by many as a direct consequence of the struggle for Nagorno-Karabakh, and many who joined it were precisely refugees or diaspora groups who had fought for self-determination.
>**It is true that it is the same movement that is driving the defense of Vardanyan’s rights. However, this time it seems that they have managed to gain support even from groups that were critical of Bagrat**
And this isn’t to say it’s a bad thing. Far from it, it’s good that people are talking about it. What’s disgusting is that the ARF and co have literally coopted the movement and are presenting themselves as the forerunners of this shit. You notice it since not many are talking about the poor old Arayik, that doesn’t make sense in their own narrative that Armenia sold off only those who were against them.
They are using left leaning programs and movements for their own gain as well. regardless of the fact that most members at least in the US ANCA diaspora, are extremely anti-Left, and pro-Trumpian or Imperialist policies.
And all because there is no understanding of politics outside of reactionary politics inside Armenia.
Armenian politics is quite literally fucked, when the only movement listening to Artak speak is these freaks. Who care about lining up their pockets, and who have taken no responsibility for their obstructionist movement in Artsakh.

He then qualifies what strong is and what an honorable and dignified elite is while he describes himself with those exact qualifications…

I stopped listening after 2-3 minutes, too much self-praise, in a language that is not appropriate in these circumstances. Very odd choice.

Hes probably being forced to say these things.

Don’t remember what my father precisely said about him but it was nothing good. This smells fishy. If anyone could remind me who he is, that would be nice

And this isn’t without the massive amount of effort being put to push this. The IUSY, the CSI, the Aznavour foundation.
Even Rasmus Canbäck, a Swedish journalists who was present in Armenia since the 2020 war, has noticed this symbolization: https://blankspot-se.translate.goog/kommentar-konflikten-i-nagorno-karabach-har-fatt-en-ny-symbol/?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en
