      It’s not that Francken doesn’t support Ukraine, but rather that he fancied himself as a smart international politics analyst when he made that statement, while forgetting that that is not his place as a minister of Defence.

      Everyone with half a brain cell knows that Ukraine will not end the war with all the territory it had before the war – unless someone starts seriously intervening, which they are not.

      The issue with Frankens statement isn’t the content but the fact that he’s sec def now.

      He has always supported Ukraine.
