Anyone who voted for this administration is complicit in making this country worse.

A man who might have issues with those overlooking private company’s activities in Space, and, say, EVA stuff relating to marine life (like, I guess, salt-water marshes), just _might_ have had a hand in this. Maybe.

This should say:
„Trump and Musk terminate space, climate, and marine life advisory committees“
It makes it sound like NOAA people made a choice to end these committees

I wonder if the „PROGRESS AT ALL COSTS“ cult realize they’re gonna die on this rock like all life before them… no one that isn’t a astronaut living today is gonna set foot on mars within our life times. Theres no rush in the slightest or excuse to kill these stopgaps.

If you go to the r/conservative sub you can see the echo chamber cheering on their winning.
The embrace of ignorance is their victory. Well done, you’ve owned all the libs.

I saw some MAGA justifying making cuts to NOAA because they’re tired of weather being…“politicized“.
Yeah. That’s about the level of intelligence we’re dealing with.

So are they going to send out a memo informing us when things are officially “great” again? Wondering because from my perspective, it seems like we’re sliding into a giant trough of shit.

I would love to know what the proposed upside of this is.

*sigh* Sometimes shit like this makes me feel like giving up, but I remember that the point of fascism is to drain the opposition of willpower and energy.
I think there is little we can do now, but I know that eventually the collective consciousness will become more aware of the need for a political overhaul.

So no early warnings of hurricanes, no hurricane hunter aircrafts?
If yes, would that mean hopefully Mar-a-Lago under water?

We are dealing with delusion here
People are living in an alternate reality and it makes all of this that much more difficult and scary
