People don’t understand Israel’s commitment to the Druze. There’s a large community of them living in Israel since 1967 with more and more of them asking for Israeli citizenship and have relatives across the border.

During the Syrian civil war, Israel quietly saved the lives of thousands of Druze (And Syrians in general): https://www.timesofisrael.com/operation-good-neighbor-israels-massive-humanitarian-aid-to-syria-revealed/

The Saudi news network Al-Arabiya reported earlier that Israel has been offering residents of southern Syria near the border the opportunity to work in Israel while tempting them with attractive wages.

The Syrians would be permitted to enter Israeli territory for work, and then return to Syria at the end of the day. The scheme was said to be modeled on one previously used for Gazans who would cross daily into Israel for work before the war started on October 7, 2023

And now, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has confirmed that Israel indeed intends to employ Syrians within its borders.

This is better news than hearing about Bibi instigating the new Syrian regime with strikes.

Though, he benefits from war mongering. The  moment that they retaliate, he’ll cry “wolf” because they’re jihadists and he stalls his spot as PM.
