      A garage plaque from Basel Stadt (the worst drivers in CH). He was thinking he’s clever… which obviously was not the case..

      Usually, holders of U-plates know exactly what flies and what doesn’t in terms of not-quite-roadworthy vehicles lol.

      I saw one the other day and was just wondering if it is legal. Glad to see it is not.

      I’m surprised actually. The U-number usualy implies that it’s a mechanic/garage number/car. And having a U-number on your car, you’re basically save from controls. You can drive old cars or cars with defects that would not pass the official cantonal control. So there must be a fine line of what „not road legal“ means.

      On a side note, I’m noticing more Teslas around here when I go for a walk. Used to be just one and now it’s three to four.
