Azerbaijan has purchased the most logical aircraft it could. The advantage of the JF-17 is its variety of munitions and avionics. At a very low cost, it allows for deep strikes into enemy territory.

The photo isn’t correct, this is JF-17 Thunder Block 4 but what we have bought is Block 3, which looks vastly different than this.

Waste of money, just like Armenia’s purchase of Su-30SM. Instead of spending heavily on the buy and maintenance infrastructure of fighter jets, there are better options for that money. Investing heavily in the development of suicide drones and indigenous anti-ballistic defense makes much more sense in the long run.
