I cannot imagine what’s going through the mind of a competent general who is being fired by a secretary who got his job through a DEI selection for incompetent people lacking self-discipline? Which self-respecting soldiers want to take order and get morale from this guy?
If military has balls, maybe they should think about “restoring constitutional order” before Musk hacks the nuclear code.
Remember when they told us they had nothing to do with Project 2025.
This for me is why Trump 2.0 is so much more dangerous than the first time round. First time round there was always this feeling that there where sensible people in the administration and in the departments of government that could keep things in check. During his first term there was still some of the old GOP republicans in place most of them are gone too, the MAGA party rules over US politics now with Trump as the figure head.
The thing is these people he has sacked could very well be the same folks who have been involved in preparing and supporting operations regarding Ukraine/Russia and Trump is continuing on with what he has done with every other department, sacking them and replacing them with political stooges.
Hitler did this too 🙂

Top generals are always political appointees so its not surprising that Trump is purging them.
