I don’t mind them speaking whatever language they choose to each other. I only mind them speaking to me in a non-state language, them having lived here for their whole lives.
Can we seriously stop spreading such bs nationalist propoganda? Its not about the language you speak, its about your values and where your loyalties lie
You realise the very reason Latvia is awesome is because of the freedom to speak whatever language you want? Oppression of language is a very slippery slope, and not one Latvia (or any other country) wants to go down.

Krievs Latvijā nav naidnieks. Nozombēts krievs Latvijā gan ir. Noteikt to var viegli, noskaidrot, kur krievs skatās ziņas.
Latvia sucks for a lot reasons, and more important than mentioned. Seems everyone hates Russia, but we are not that different – same corruption, however country is much smaller. „Kiss ass“ attitude towards EU / US. USSR collapsed a long time ago, but many governmental structures operate by same principals.
Not to mention „Rail baltica“ and similar smaller size „rail baltica“ everywhere you look.

Language is not the problem, it’s the attitude of certain people who use it that ruins it for everybody. All the decent folks just become guilty by association.
Principā šis te varētu būt klasificēts kā „hate speech“ pret LV
Mūsu valdība jau pietiekami dara, lai saglabātu LV valodu, kultūru utt
Drīzāk: latviski runājošajiem nevajadzētu justies slikti vai neērti par to, ka nerunā krieviski. Mani par to jau nosodījuši gana krieviski runājošo indivīdu bars, kas domā, ka tā ir pirmā nepieciešamība. Nevaru iedomāties tos, kuri patiešām neko nesaprot un ikdienā jāsaskaras ar to.
