Dont know if this comment will stay and if you realy want to know, but, most likely someone jumped in front of the Train. They changed from caling it „Personenunfall“ to „Fremdereigniss“. so that others wouldnt be encouraged / reminded to do the same. That said, my father drives train and my sister works for emergency services. Pls dont ruin their day and seek help by calling a help-hotline:

it’s almost always a suicide. as there are, sadly still way too many „Schienensuizide“ in Switzerland. if the interruption is as long as the one today, that’s another sign because it has to be treated like a criminal investigation, so the place of the „Personenunfall“ (as it was called until recently) becomes a crime scene and it takes hours to gather all the „evidence“.

I find it so disconcerting that this certain sport at Bahnhof Aarau hasn’t been secured yet! it’s one of the most prevalent places for Schienensuizide. this can’t be that hard, can it?? it’s horrible enough if a person is so desperate that they decide to end their life, it’s even worse that SBB or the Bund are not more proactive making it as difficult as possible or rather, making it impossible! how hard can it be?? but then it took Bern YEARS to secure the Kornhausbrücke with nets. It’s just astonishing to me, really.
