Her father’s name is Auguste Cremona (not sure of the spelling, i only saw it spelled in Arabic), he was a sea captain at the port of Beirut and was an immigrant from Malta & her mother was Lebanese

she has 2 sisters (Nawal & Jeannette) and 3 brothers (Charles, Georges & Manuel)

Samira only received a Lebanese citizenship in 1963, before that she had a British citizenship because in Lebanon you can only inherit a citizenship from your father

she’s one of the most successful Arab artists ever, she became popular by singing folklore & traditional songs. the song in the video is an Iraqi folklore song
