Is it some actual leggit technology or another grift for some cash made by bozos like Betrand Piccard ?
Edit: I didn’t see his name before clicking the article, it’s actually a Piccard project hahaha. Bro spent all the „Prime Energy“ and „Solar impulse“ money and gotta pump the next sh*t.
Must be very challenging given the high pressures and tight seals needed for liquid hydrogen. Also the energy density of liquid hydrogen is a lot lower than for jet fuel.
Definitely an important technology to pursue though, in parallel with electric aviation.
