      Even the 2.7 K background glow from the Big Bang is warmer than the nebula. It is the only naturally occurring object found so far that has a temperature lower than the background radiation.

    4. How can it be colder than the cosmic background temperature? That seems to violate physics.

      So if the *average* is 1 K, what’s the standard deviation? Like .00001 K???
