    1. That’s what happens when you shut down your nuclear power plants. Not only did they have to fire up the coal power plants but the electricity is now a lot more expensive so a lot more people use wood and heizol for heating instead.

      A real example of FAFO I would say.

    2. It is called „Inversionswetterlage“ and is common for this time of year. You have cold air on the bottom, then a warm layer of air above. This prevents vertical circulation, trapping any kind of pollution to the ground.

      It is also when you get fog in the valleys and bright, sunny days on the mountains.

      It even shows how the smoke is trapped close to the ground.
