One thing id like to know is whether there is a particular strategic reason in Russia targeting the sahel/ west Africa in particular
Is it just that Russia are trying to get whatever countries they think they have a chance of winning over, and it just so happens that they saw a gap to exploit within this region. Or is there something specific about this region that has made Russia target it.
