      Looks like you have a extra-pissed one. Who knows what he’s been through, or if he’s just like that.

      In any case, I haven’t had any Hausmeister or similar like that yet.

      It´s normal the moment you become so aggrevated about misbehavior, that you no longer can ask nicely. Usually happens after 2-3 NICER letters. If people still do not learn you have this as result. (not saying this will help either, I just understand the outburst on a personal level)

      Germans hate to cuddle people for their wrongdoings. If the wrongdoing would have ONLY an impact on said tenant, no one would care.

      The tone is not normal.

      The style of communication to put up laminated notes in the hallway to discipline the tenants however…. Yes this is the standard.

      Yes when it’s the fourth or fifth notice. I would get angry like that too. Maybe even after a first more nicer one.

      Rudeness is one of the basic job requirements for becoming a German Hausmeister, so nothing new here.

      Also, as others have already pointed out: this note is laminated, so it is 100% legit.

      This also seems to imply that there were multiple situations and also that this was previously communicated, so a harsher tone is probably justified.

      So, yeah, it’s normal.

      saying it as a non-German, it *is* kind of a dick move to put foodstuff waste in yellow bin…why deliberately do this over and over, and risk messing up both the waste disposal process and loss of the service in your apartment complex?

      Except for the „Spasmus“ part I find it ok… but that alone would be reason for me to complain to the Hausverwaltung, that’s completely off.

      I have a feeling this isn’t the first time he/she tried to bring it the tenants attention, they don’t care so, Hausmeister gets a bit agitated.

      Normal for someone is fed up with tenants that are honestly too stupid to be allowed to live without a legal guardian. I bet they’ve told everyone a thousand times how to separate their trash and what happens if they don’t and they still don’t listen. I’d be pissed too. And if a nice tone doesn’t work they’ll use a different one.

      In Berlin this would be considered a „höfliche Aufforderung“. Jokes aside: to call someone verblödet or reference to bodily challenged people (Spasmus) is absolutely inappropriate. I would call the Verwaltung to ask if they think this is ok, but then again it’s two years old.

      Rude, unprofessional but normal. Hausmeister are known for very tough tone. Basically this was all germans can get a taste of the normal Handwerker Umgangston (Handymans colloquial tone). I remember there was a School Hausmeister who got supended for telling a student: „Ich reiß dir den Kopf ab und scheiß dir in‘ Hals“ („I’ll rip off your head shit into your throat“). The student was caught stealing and mistreating his powertools.

      If the situation is still ongoing, I assume the Hausmeister filled the garbage cans with the offender by now 😀

      is it normal behaviour to move into another country and shit on their rules? is it normal behaviour to make snarky reddit posts with nothing but a picture and no context at all after living like a piece of shit long enough to piss off your hausmeister that much?

      no, nothing here is normal. and people who dumb their trash without sorting are literally pieces of shit so fucking SORT YOUR TRASH or join it.

      I can feel the Hausmeister’s pain. Because guess who has to clean those trash cans. I expect going forward they call a professional cleaning company and just add the costs to everyone’s Nebenkosten. Classic example of few bad apples spoiling it for the rest.
