    Wie beliebt ist Aurora in Norwegen?


    Ich habe gerade festgestellt, dass Sigrid, Astrid S, Dagny, Gabrielle und Susanne Sundfør in lokalen Songs Charts viel besser sind als Aurora, obwohl sie zusammen mit A-Ha, Alan Walker und Kygo der größte Name im Ausland ist. Wenn es jedoch um Alben geht, verkaufte ihr erster in Norwegen mehr als alle Künstlerinnen, die ich erwähnte (mit Ausnahme von Susanne)

    Sie hat sogar mit Øya angesiedelt, scheint aber nicht gerade einen Treffer in Norwegen zu haben "Ausreißer" Und "Sternstaub". Ich frage mich, wie Mainstream sie da drin ist?

      Would compare her to the others. A-Ha is in a league of its own. And of course Alan, Kygo and Aurora how more international recognition than the others. But here in Norway they are about the same. That’s my experience though. I don’t listen too much to Norwegian artists.

      Her music isn’t bad but like someone said , I’ve personally never met anyone who listens to her music

      Fairly popular. But I’m from Bergen so I may be biased. She’s from Os or thereabouts.

      She is a big name, but her music is less mainstream than most of the others you have mentioned.

      My ex was head over heels into her and basically attended every concert of hers in the area. I know a lot of people who barely know her music as well; but on average she has a lot of fans here.

      I hope Susanne Sundfør is more popular, but assume Aurora is more popular (all power to both of them ofc).

      Don’t think ive heard one song. Don’t listen to radio. Seen her picture in the news tho.

      She’s someone we are proud of but don’t listen to proportionally to that pride.

      Like Prince, Björk, Ravi Shankar, Yoko Ono, Mari Boine and Kurt Nilsen.

      Personally I think it’s because her songs are „meh“. She carries all of it with her amazing technique and divine passion. If she is ever paired with a good song there will be sparkles.

      She is frequently played on P1, P2 and P3, the „big three“ radio stations by NRK (Our NPR).
      Whenever she releases music her singles are also played a bunch on commercial radio stations and she charts very good on Spotify and YouTube.
      She headlines festivals and has been awarded both Spellemannsprisen and P3Gull Artist of the year.

      She’s a big deal in certain circuits, although I suspect her lifestyle and views on „celebrityhood“ makes her not as obliged as others to farm the status.

      I suspect her songs are more famous than she is. How it should be.

      She’s a real artist, plain and simple.

      I like her better than the others you mentioned. But I think as far as the mainstream the others are more popular.

      I’m old as fuck, so I have never heard her music, except for the Massive Attack cover, which I enjoyed, but I did see a video of her answering a music quiz on the street, and she was so charming.
