Yeah your probably fucked ….
Even if everything is „legal“ it will probably will be a long battle with the FĂźhrerscheinstelle etc.
> which I just innocently answered with honesty, and it appears that they’re kind of using it against me.
Never ever ever ever talk to the police. Lawyer up immediately.
As the document states you need to send this to your doctor and he / she answers the questions of them. They are checking if you are allowed to keep your driving Licence.
>I didn’t have my prescription with me at the moment
does that matter? as far as i know it’s illegal to drive a car while you’re under the influence of a drug like cannabis. it does not matter if it’s prescribed or not, **you are not allowed to drive a car**.
the case is pretty clear, time to lawyer up but you should have done that months ago to be honest
Yep. Thats gonna cost some good money
Just do what they ask of you? That letter says that they’re not sure how much your driving skills were impacted by your drug useage, so they need additional information. We can’t tell you how they’ll decide once they have that information.
Do you like bikes and public transport?
Yeah, you’re going to have a shit load of bullshit to deal with and it’s going to cost you.
Find yourself a lawyer who deals with Fahrerlaubnis and you might have an easier ride…. Still going to cost you, mind.
Most likely they will take your license and it will be very difficult to get it back.
Which is good, because from what you wrote it’s clear thay you’re addicted to cannabis and should not be driving a car.
Frankly, I hope that for your own safety and that of potential innocent victims they at least temporarily revoke your licence. You shouldn’t be driving while high
Alright, what’s done is done, but ffs hammer it into your heads, people: do not talk with cops. Nothing to gain, lots to lose. Let your lawyer do the talking, if and when the time comes. Don’t have one? Get one. Now. Don’t have the money? Go to your local *Amtsgericht,* bring everything documenting your financial situation and apply for *Beratungshilfe*. A *Rechtspfleger* will then proceed to check if you’re entitled to having your lawyer costs covered by the state. Because yes, you’re well and truly fucked. At least insofar your licence is concerned. This is gearing up for a full-scale *Medizinisch-Psychologische Untersuchung (MPU)* and just providing a prescription won’t cut it. They’re already asking for documentation on your compliance with therapeutic plans. You will have to fight this in court, if you plan on continuing to drive. Which will be an uphill battle, but there is a chance. So chop chop, get on with it quick like a bunny and get yourself a lawyer first thing tomorrow morning.
Firstly, yes, youâre probably fucked and thatâs a good thing. Driving under the influence of drugs is an absolute no-go, even if prescribed by a doctor.
Secondly: have fun on your bike and on public transport đ
They wrote, that your Rx stated youâd consume medical cannabis through inhalation and the use of a vaporiser.. but you didnât said a word about it..
You talked about your cannabis use.. major red flag. Never talk to the cops. Itâs their job to get evidence not yours to provide it.
Get yourself a lawyer and donât talk to them without legal advisory.
Yes, you are and es is gut so.
Your actions are totally irresponsible. This isnât about your prescribed cannabis useâ**itâs about driving while under its influence**, which puts everyone else on the road in danger. Public safety is far more important than any justification for driving under the effects of cannabis. Itâs crucial to understand the risk youâre creating and take responsibility for ensuring others‘ safety.
Neuer THC-Grenzwert: Das gilt fĂźr Cannabis und Autofahren

Since August 2024 the legal limit for THC while driving is 3,5 ng/ml blood serum.
8,6 > 3,5
A prescription doesn’t change anything about that.
So OP, youâre putting other peopleâs lives in danger by driving under influence and asking if thereâll be consequences, because you got caught?! Wtf..
You drove with THC. You deserve everything right here. Be more responsible in traffic!
Your first mistake was to tell them that you usually consume cannabis by joints. However âhe didnât even know what a vaporiser isâ is a pretty weak argument – especially because you have a vaporiser. You should get yourself a lawyer but still expect some trouble.
Man, you’re well above the allowed threshold. Regardless whether you’re on prescribed meds or not, this is way beyond allowed. AFAIK the same happens if you’re on some heavy pain medication that makes you unsuitable for driving. This’ll cost ya quite some money and most likely your license.
Which kind of influence it is? Were you high, or that were just traces? Because they stay in the blood for (as I read) 30 – 70 days after use.
You’re fucked and that is a good thing.
No matter why you are using, you should never ever drive under the influence of any substance.
Even if your tolerance is high and you don’t fell a lot, your reaction time is way too slow to operate a machine that could kill everyone in front of it
Get a lawyer and ty to get out or accept and do the MPU gotta be 6 months sober then tho but Fr man get a lawyer. Never talk to police use your right to remain silebt and let a lawyer do the talking. Police is really wicked they always try to f u over in germany
You are not f*cked. You would have been f*cked if you caused a fatal crash or run over some school kids while being on drugs. Goddammit just take a bus.
Additionally I can only once again recommend [http://www.verkehrsportal.de/board/index.php?showforum=17](http://www.verkehrsportal.de/board/index.php?showforum=17) for help.
Youâre looking forward to a looong time without a license, complete proven abstinence, therapy with a traffic psychologist, a mpu which is very hard, but possible to pass, lots of expenses. In the end youâll get the license back or youâll have to make a new one. My lawyer at the time looked at the file, laughed his ass off, charged me a fortune for reading and just told me to accept the Strafbefehl and proceed. Good luck and get a decent bike.
There are companies who will train you to pass the MPU, because the examiners basically just tick boxes, and itâs possible to learn the correct responses.
If you donât want to pay the âŹâŹâŹâŹ to those companies and go it alone, the best approach, Iâve heard, is to cry mea culpa, mea culpa, make no excuses whatsoever, admit that you were totally in the wrong, you knew it, and you will make every effort to reform your miserable self.
