Ich habe eine Hörverarbeitungsstörung. Wenn ich mir Filme auf Englisch ansehe, habe ich Untertitel aktiviert, aber wenn ich Filme auf synchronisiertem Finnisch ansehe und Untertitel aktiviert habe, sind sie meistens komplett ausgeschaltet.
Es ist ein kleines Ärgernis für Haustiere.

It is because the finnish subtitles are made to reflect the original (usually english) audio, and dubbing the show with direct translation from the original would likely be terrible.
I do feel like there could be a second set of subtitles made from the finnish dub transcripts, to be used alongside the dubbed version, but that would be a lot of work and cost that I don’t think the publishers care enough to do.
