Ingenieure und Techniker des Exploration Ground Systems Program der NASA transportieren am Dienstag, den 14. Januar 2025, das rechte mittlere Segment mit den NASA-Wurmmemblemen zum Vehicle Assembly Building im Kennedy Space Center der NASA in Florida. Das Booster-Segment ist an einer Hebevorrichtung befestigt Beam Ahead der Integration in den mobilen Launcher. Die Booster werden dazu beitragen, die verbleibenden Raketenkomponenten und das Orion-Raumschiff während der Endmontage der Mondrakete Artemis II zu unterstützen und mehr als 75 Prozent des gesamten SLS-Schubs (Space Launch System) beim Start von der Startrampe 39B der NASA Kennedy bereitzustellen.

I’ve always been amazed at these rocket assembly plants. Most of all, the satellite „storage“ where the final form is being assembled and folded. It’s tidy, immaculate, sharp.
