I am still not seeing optics and night vision and heat vision equipment.

We are a quarter way in to the 21st century, and this is unacceptable.

I see bare AKs, bare helmets. No personal CREW/REW equipment either.

These guys are supposed to be the tip of the spear, they need the best that money can buy, so it makes their already difficult job a bit easier to do.

I think it was Tonyan who said, when Israeli strike drones were offered to us, „we can hit a tank with an RPG too“. Yeah, and possibly end up dead or needlessly risk your life.

Why take away better night fighting capability from a force that will usually operate in the night?
