Bullshit. You guys get Farsons Blue Label over there.

I think about a pint of that every three days on average and I gotta put up with domestic macro pilsners or Magic Fruitcake IPAs. My pain is sharp and constant.

My go to local beers are Cisk Excel and Blue Label. Make sure they are the bottled or canned ones. The draft ones require regular cleaning and my taste tells me that it’s not always done.

Fat Harry’s in Valleta, then go for the ol‘ Guiness. Safest bet.

Four months ? And you are Not here for the corruption ? Beer is a small price to pay for all those tax breaks !

Has very nice choice of in-house beers on tap + the ribs they serve there are quite good (especially ones with „inferno“ sauce). Their Valetta lager is quite good.

Or if you fancy for some Lord Chambray you can to 67 Kapitali (https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g190328-d2094655-Reviews-67_Kapitali-Valletta_Island_of_Malta.html). Lord Chambray’s Coral Cave is also a decent lager.

Why go to a scottish lager when the locals are top. Ciisk, Cisk excel, Blue Label and Pale Ale Hopleaf although technically not a lager are great. If you wanna go Scottish, get a whisky right!?

There has never been a massive drinking culture in Malta where people spend a lot of time in pubs compared to the Brits and some other Euro cultures as you’d know. So someone needs to open an awesome classy beer experience bar with international beers for those who’d be into it perhaps 🤷🏻‍♀️altho from the other comments there are go to’s already. When you’re in Malta do as the locals do and go Cisk. 🍺

Blue Label is great. So is 1565, but it seems like it’s harder to find than it used to be.

    10. honestly it’s just the pure raw dishonesty. I’ve been to a restaurant where they first pour the beer which has 0 bubbles and foam, then they just add the foam through another machine. I’m no expert but that looked disgusting to say the least and it had no smell and very poor taste. Is this something that is acceptable or are they scamming beer lovers?
