I did one similar recently. You see that notch? You wanna get something slim and strong in there.
I had used a butter knife.
And then literally prise it open
Flathead screwdriver in that small hole and then pry open
It can be very tight to open. But it will open. Use the force…..
How many times have this exact same question been asked before? Maybe we should have a tag like “lamp problem” 😅

Not sure about this specific one but usually pushing and then twisting it makes it come right off
