I’m not cosmologist, does the presence of these additional galaxies provide any insight into the dark matter issue?

Like the milky way having the Magellanic cloud …does that potentially have anything to do with dark matter? It seems they exist where our halo does, right?

What’s the over-under on dark energy not being a real phenomenon at this point?

      > By studying the intricate balance between dark matter and dark energy within these colossal structures, scientists inch closer to understanding the mysterious mechanisms driving cosmic evolution.

This article was just nonsense. Dark energy isn’t being studied, it’s just a placeholder in equations. Same for dark matter. There is no „intricate balance“ between the two and certainly nobody is studying that fictional balance. They’re trying to determine whether these things are even real or just conveniences to make the math work.
