Letzten Juni besuchte ich Island und kaufte dort eine Lopapeysa in einem örtlichen Geschäft, das wunderschöne handgestrickte Exemplare verkaufte. Ich liebe es und habe es nur ein paar Mal getragen, hauptsächlich während meines Aufenthalts dort, da ich in Texas lebe, und erst heute ist es kalt genug geworden, dass ich es tragen kann. Das ist schon so, seit ich es habe, aber es ist sehr zäh und ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob es so sein sollte oder nicht. Ich hatte eines für eine Freundin gekauft und ihres war überhaupt nicht so. Ich möchte nur sicherstellen, dass ich es nicht ruiniere oder so etwas, da ich es vielleicht noch lange nicht zurück nach Island schaffe. Ist es in Ordnung und ich mache mir einfach umsonst Sorgen oder kann ich etwas dagegen tun? Die Bilder zeigen die Hülle, aber ich kann bei Bedarf weitere zur Verfügung stellen. All my Lopapeysur look like this. They’re rough knitted with „rough“ sheeps wool, which is what gives it it’s good thermal insulating qualities.
Yes. This is normal. Both the look and the feel. The other one you bought may have been knitted with a different type of yarn maybe. But this is definitely normal.
Yea this is totally normal for a lopapeysa.
It gets softer the more you wear it.
I’ve heard of people bathing it in hair conditioner to make the wool a bit softer, but mostly just using it makes it softer and better.

It’s shedding. Put it in a dark place with a bowl of drinking water and it will be as good as new in a couple of days, albeit a little bigger.
Completely normal as others have said. Make sure to wash it seldom and only by hand using a gentle soap or wool detergent and warm or cool water (not a higher temperature than 40°C), then lay it flat to dry; this will help make sure it lasts
