Als ich in der Küche an meiner Dunstabzugshaube herumfummelte, stellte ich fest, dass sich zwischen dem Grill und dem Loch in der Dunstabzugshaube dieses kissenartige Ding befand. Es scheint, dass es verwendet wird, um den Geruch weiter zu reduzieren, aber ich weiß nicht, wie es heißt, damit ich es ersetzen kann (es riecht unangenehm). Irgendeine Hilfe?

It’s the active carbon filter sheet and the „grease trap“(can’t for the life of me figure out the English word at this moment) of your stove unit. Good news is that your grease trap looks not nearly the worst I saw sometimes as a maintenance man.
Now that you know how it comes out, I recommend giving it a good scrub every once in a while so it doesn’t get clogged with the evaporating grease that solidifies on the colder metal. Can also be a fire hazard at worst, if this is not done.
