More that scientists are like, wow those sonic booms were quite big has anyone looked into this?

Plus who will think about the animals…. They’re just going to start doing tests to see their impact
To be fair, the world’s largest rocket makes the world’s largest rocket noise on the way up AND on the way down. And SpaceX want to launch several times a *day* compared to ULA several times a year or SLS once every three years. That’s a lot of extra noise.
But anyone complaining about it should come up with a solution. You can’t just say it’s noisy without suggesting an alternative. Stop launching rockets? Only ever use more expensive and fully expendable rockets forever? That’s like solving the problem of car emissions by suggesting people just stay at home and read a book.
Maybe they could build giant piers out to see like at Southend when they had to dock massive WW2 ships in the Thames Estuary and couldn’t get close to the shoreline. Or that massive bridge in the Florida Keys. Build one of them with a Starship launch pad at the end and all the launches / catches can be away from land.
We can accept this if it means starting humans on their way to the stars so we aren’t wiped out in a mass extinction event. Which we know is coming.
Doesn’t stop anyone from using Sonar in the oceans. There’s plenty of noise generated underwater that have massive negative affects on the animals.
Is this a legitimate concern, or simply a political pushback focused on SpaceX ?
