    Ich finde hier Toilettensitze heraus


    Ich muss einen neuen Toilettensitz kaufen, weil der vom Vorbesitzer unserer Wohnung hinterlassene sehr alt und schmutzig ist. Ich habe in Finnland noch nie einen Toilettensitz gekauft und würde daher gerne Hilfe dabei haben, herauszufinden, welcher der richtige ist. Auf der Toilette befindet sich ein Aufkleber mit der Aufschrift „ "IDO 0906 5540." Ich habe online bei Clas Ohlson eines gefunden, das meiner Meinung nach das richtige ist (Link 1), aber es ist nirgendwo in meiner Nähe auf Lager. Ich habe diesen anderen, viel günstigeren gefunden, der besagt, dass es sich um einen universellen Toilettensitz handelt, bin mir aber nicht sicher, ob er funktionieren würde (Link 2). Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob es wichtig ist, aber ich wohne in einer HOAS-Studentenunterkunft.

      Did you ask first through HOAS if they would be willing to switch it? I think they have their own app/site for maintenance requests.

      Don’t replace it yourself. Just inform HOAS that the current seat is in bad condition and if they don’t want to change it at least they can give you the correct model.

      A tip is to take som baking paper or something almost see through, and mark where the skrews are, and draw around to get the correct size. Tale this with you to a store that sells toiletseats. Would try a more plumber store that Clas. They will have many seats to choose from.

      What I did was to take the old seat with me. After buying one that doesn’t fit. No joking. Because there are so many models out there.

      As a tenant I do no think you are allowed to automatically change fixtures in your home. But to be sure, call Hoas and ask. Sometimes calling is more effective than mailing.

      I had to get a new toilet seat and there seems to be lots of model and years when they have changed.

      I solved the issue by going to Bauhaus in Vantaa with a photograph of my toilet bowl, and the really helpful sales person there had a folder with info on toilets/seats just for this purpose and could ID my toilet, year and then suggest a suitable seat. It fit well and was correct model.

      Visit your local Bauhaus with a photo of your toilet bowl (vessanpönttö)!

      Might work in other hardware stores too, but I got such excellent service at Bauhaus that I need to mention it!
