      Twint never supported NFC „thanks“ to Apple and them blocking NFC access. Seeing that it is now possible to gain access to NFC, lets hope that Twint „soon“ will also support NFC. Sure, QR Code scanning is nice. NFC is nicer 🙂

      The good thing about Apple not allowing other apps using NFC was that banks/providers HAD to adopt.

      The user had everything together in their one wallet app that just worked. You can decide in this one wallet app which card you want to use.

      Now every bank will force you to install and open their (messy) app to use their card.

      Fragmentation.
