BENELUX has a common airspace protection. For example when someone violates our airspace NL fighter jet can intervien. With this beeing said it’s nothing unusual.

I was having my lunchbreak walk and saw them too.

I was not sure, however, if it was 2 planes or whether the first simply did a fly around.
*Edit: I just checked the flight history and it was indeed the same plane. It did a flyaround before landing.

In any case, the plane in the screenshot you provided is Luxembourg’s A400m, which we acquired a couple of years ago, as shown by the text „Luxembourg-Army“
Luxembourg is currently in the process of forming/expanding a joint battalion with the Belgian armed forces and owing that Luxembourg Army has a base not far from Findel, you will regularly see this (and other) military aircraft flying in/out to move troops/equipment.

It’s business as usual. Belgium owns 6 or 7 A400M, Luxembourg 1 and they are part of the same fleet. You also have a few Luxembourg pilots that are currently being trained to fly this plane. Their base is in Melsbroek which is a military base close to Brussels.
